The Southern Highlands
The beautiful Southern Highlands region lies to the southwest of Sydney on top of the escarpment overlooking the South Coast. The region enjoys four distinct seasons and stunning scenery ranging from native wilderness to cool misty pastures reminiscent of England, to hidden valleys with remarkable waterfalls. All this and only 2 hours away from Sydney! There are many reasons why you should visit the Southern Highlands aside from its rolling green farmscapes and rugged natural beauty. There are historic villages, superb gardens and special events like the Tulip Festival held in late September when many gardens are open for display.. More »
The Corner Country
The Corner Country of outback New South Wales lies to the north and west of Broken Hill. It follows the rugged Barrier Ranges towards Tibooburra, sweeps west across the Mundi Mundi plain and merges with the sand dunes of the Simpson Strzelecki Dunefields, where it is bordered by the Wild Dog Fence. With vast and often rugged landscapes of desert ranges, gibber plains, mesas and dune fields, the area provides habitat for many native animals and birds. Rain can spectacularly transform the Corner Country and create carpets of spring wildflower colour, and happily, this has happened regularly since the ten-year drought broke at the beginning of 2009. The Corner Country is famously known for having the most remote communities in the state, Milparinka and Tibooburra, as well as Cameron Corner.. More »
EKKA Festival
The most popular and loved australian family event, the EKKA festival, is coming to an end. Ten days of celebration has turned Brisbane into a playground of creativity. With lots of fun, overwhelming music and free art activities, Queensland's capital city again had a chance to confirm it's position as the most livable city in Australia. At the show grounds of Royal National Agricultural and Industrial Association of Queensland the entire country along with international guests came together to celebrate life, fashion, cuisine, music and more. You still have an opportunity to visit it today. Don't miss your chance More »
The Barossa Valley
To many throughout the world, it must seem unfair that – in addition to having beautiful beaches and scenery, a warm hospitable climate and adorable fuzzy animals with pouches, Australia also has the best wines. In any country where reds or whites are appreciated, you are bound to encounter Aussie wines proudly adorning the shelves of the best shops, or prominently listed on the menus in fine restaurants. The reason – our wines are truly special. And many of the best Australian wines call The Barossa Valley home. The Barossa Valley is made up of several small towns, villages, and hamlets, each with their own unique character and historical significance. More »

This establishment is aptly named Paradise - and all the extra little touches included in the tarrif are outstanding Jan Philip and Aimee.
Great location, good views and reasonably quiet..
Hi...I wasnt going to say anything about our stay but since you have emailed me...I think you do need to know....I have stayed at many places including Houseboats on the River...Serenity Now at Mannum has a lovely position but unfortunately I was extremely disappointed... firstly with how unclean the shack was, dirty T towels in the kitchen, used womens shaver and dirty soap in the shower, long time fans and ceilings hadnt been cleaned. Dirt and cobwebs..everywhere. Clothes and toys from owners everywhere....If one is going to rent out their shack this should be all put away in a cupboard somewhere. BBQ outside was absolutely filthy...even the men commented and would not cook on it. Owners really need to do some serious thinking and organising. Sorry this is a very negative report...but it is truthful..
Pure relaxation, the perfect retreat, quiet and peaceful..we'll be back!.
Loved how clean this was. Also we stayed as 2 couples so having the beedrooms so for away from each other was great.
We stayed for a week and had a lovely relaxing time. The house is comfortable and cosy with a great log fire. The kids loved the beach and corner shop to spend their pocket money! We thought it was excellent value for money and a fantastic location close to everything with a bus stop right outside, even though we hired a car we caught the bus a couple of times into Hobart it was great fun, missing it already!!.
We really enjoyed the size of the property, location and the loungeroom. However, the house needs renovating to the same level as the formal loungeroom. Given the poor condition of the beds which has been mentioned numerous times by other guests in the guest book, and the need to completely upgrade the remainder of the house, the condition for the price was very disapointing. We would definitely stay again BUT only if the beds are replaced and the house is renovated to the same standard as the loungeroom. Only then would the price be acceptable..
It was very clean, the beds were comfortable, the gardens were nice, the views were lovely, we would like to stay there again..
Jurien Beach Villa was a really lovely place to stay with the beach within walking distance. Most things you need are just a walk across the road. The place was furnished well, but some wear and tear is starting to show, one of which was the showerhead that was coming loose and sprayed water from the top right over to the sink. Great place for families..
We found it to be excellent in every way. Good value and spotless..
